Will spine surgery paralyse me?

Paralysis is the fear almost every family raises, and it is very rare. Spine surgery carries real risks, and they are explained to you before you agree. In many cases the bigger risk is leaving a badly compressed nerve alone, since weakness left too long may not fully return. Ask the surgeon to name the risks for your scan.

Do I actually need an operation for my kamar dard?

Most likely not. The majority of back pain settles with time, medicine, and physiotherapy. Surgery is considered when leg pain from a trapped nerve does not settle after weeks of proper treatment, or when there is weakness in the foot, spreading numbness, or loss of bladder or bowel control. Those last signs need urgent review.

I am doing malish and hakeem treatment. Should I continue?

Gentle massage may ease muscle pain for a while, and many families try it first. It cannot move a slip disc back or free a pinched nerve. Stop any forceful pulling or cracking of the back, especially if you have taang mein dard, numbness or weakness. Get an examination and, if advised, an MRI before more months pass.

How much does spine surgery cost in Faisalabad?
