No. Small, slow growing tumors are sometimes just watched with repeat MRI. When surgery is done, a tumor wrapped around blood vessels or sitting on speech or movement areas may be removed only partly, on purpose, with radiation or medicine for the rest. Leaving a piece on purpose is a plan, not a failure.
Herbal medicine and dam will not shrink a tumor, and time matters when pressure is building inside the head. If you have headaches that are worse in the morning, vomiting without stomach upset, fits, weakness on one side, or blurred vision, get an MRI brain with contrast this week. Bring the films, not just the report.
There is no single figure. Cost changes with the type of tumor, how long the operation takes, ICU days, and whether you need biopsy or radiation afterwards. Ask the hospital for a written quote in rupees listing surgeon fee, theatre, ICU and medicines separately, and ask what is not included. Do not rely on a number given over the phone.
Plan for a few days in hospital after a straightforward resection, longer if you needed ICU or had fits. Families travelling from Jhang, Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh or Chiniot should keep a room in Faisalabad for the first week, so stitches and the biopsy report can be checked without a long road trip.
